Our journey began over 65 years ago when John William Burrell founded JW Burrell Roofing in the village of Mattishall, Norfolk. Built on a strong work ethic and a commitment to doing every job to the highest standard, he quickly earned a reputation for honest and dependable roofing services across the region.

In 1989, John’s son Neil joined the company, working side by side with his father and gaining hands-on experience in the roofing trade across Norfolk. Together, they grew the business into JW Burrell & Son Roofing, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern roofing techniques as the industry evolved.
Following many successful years serving Dereham, Mattishall, and nearby villages, the business transitioned in 2008 to Neil J Burrell Roofing & Property Maintenance. This marked an expansion into a broader range of roofing and property maintenance services, while continuing to uphold the high standards the company was built on.
